So people say that New York is the city that never sleeps...i beg to differ!
London is a non-stop party whether it is day time or night
Last night i was among 99 999 other people in Hyde Park (one of which who i discovered thought he was at Take That...honestly!!) and got to witness the incredible live performances of the White lies, Paul Weller (who was NOT so amazing) and of course the Kings of Leon!
Myself and seven other girlfriends of mine decided that even though the normal uk weather was pouring down, we were not going to miss this opportunity, but then the universe worked in our favour and the sun came out to play...blue skies all the way!! The energy was unbelievable and the sound was even better!we partied the night away like lunatics
The only criticism i have is that (and i have experienced this before) british folk have a tendency to pee in cups or bottles and throw them across the crowds...this is a major dampener (pardon the pun) on my vibe..however i learned from past experiences so rocked a beanie and a hoodie and i was happy!! in a nut shell i loved it! and was so bummed that it was over!
this week however...i will be seeing another amazing band called Halfway to New York at a venue called 2239 and then rocking a day party at the Kensington rooftop garden with non other than Just Jinger and Goldfish!! proudly south african baby!! haha
more updates and fun to come!
Its play time!!
